Universal Windows Platform (UWP) may be defined as the API developed by Microsoft which is used to develop an application that could be run on devices that works using Windows 10. The sole purpose of this API is to develop a common application for Windows 10, Hololens, Windows 10 mobile, and so on to eliminate the need of developing for each of them. One can write applications using VB.net, C, and C++, XAML on this platform. The implementation of this API in the application will make it very efficient to be used as several devices will be able to access it with ease. This API has been developed or implemented using C++. This is something that is considered the latest and will not work on the Windows version earlier than Windows 10.
